Goals and rules

What is the main goal in a level?

Arrange echo pebbles so the board’s phrase resolves, wake harmony rings along the way, and finish when the spirit settles. Optional goals may ask for fewer moves or a cleaner listen.

Can I place pebbles anywhere?

Only on free tone stones and open board slots. Harmony rings mark confirmed zones, rhythm paths hint at order, and locked pads stay fixed until earlier notes resolve—shown clearly on the board.

How do sound combos and harmony rings work?

Place related pebbles so their pitches form a combo, then listen. Harmony rings brighten when the layout is close and settle when the phrase is correct.

Controls and session flow

While you play

Controls stay light: select a pebble, place it, trigger playback, and rearrange until the phrase locks, as described in the How to Play section.

What controls does the player use?

Drag or tap echo pebbles onto tone stones, trigger playback to hear the combo, then rearrange pieces and replay to refine the last beats.

What happens if the phrase stalls?

An incomplete phrase simply invites another listen—replaying lets you fix pebble order or tone placement and try again.

How do optional goals change a level?

Optional goals usually ask for cleaner solutions—fewer moves, one unbroken listen, or placing tones in a preferred order—without changing the basic win condition of resolving the board’s harmony.
